Okay, an experiment.

We have an infrastructure, we have a growing userbase, and we have a vibrant developer community spinning up apps for everyone to use.

I know that @dalton (and plenty of others) have ideas about how third-party developers can generate revenue streams by writing apps for App.net, but I'm really curious as to where the datapoints lay even at this early stage.

So, think of this as the tip jar (since I started life as a jazz musician). If you're pleased with how quickApp is coming along, throw a tip in the jar. Let me know what you'd like to see, what pains you the most, what your favorite color is (blue...no, red! AAAH!) - whatever you choose.

I will eat, regardless of what hits the tip jar. Promise. And your thanks are my favorite part of my mentions feed. But if this goes the way I suspect it will, it will provide invaluable data about the early stages of the developer ecosystem from an economics standpoint. I'll even openly share the data with all you nice folks (unless I buy a Rolls - then y'all are own your own).

At the very least, thanks for reading - you folks have made this really fun!
